Tracey Heywood is a Ph.D. candidate in the Administration of Justice at Texas Southern University, where she serves as an Adjunct Professor, Research Assistant, and Graduate Teaching Assistant. With over 23 years of experience in finance, business administration, tax compliance, and education, she brings a strong combination of practical expertise and leadership to her professional work.

Tracey has extensive experience supporting organizational operations, financial management, and compliance processes, while also contributing to higher education through teaching and student mentorship. Her professional background reflects a commitment to excellence, accountability, and service.

She has presented at national academic conferences and serves as a Graduate Student Editor for the African Journal of Criminology and Justice Studies. She is an active member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS),  the American Society of Criminology (ASC), and the Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement (SLCA), engaging in professional development and contributing to the broader field.

Tracey holds Executive Certificates in the United Nations Peace Series Training, with a specialized focus in Peace Diplomacy and Global Stability (Strategic Peace Diplomacy in a Fragmented World, Peace, Governance, and Global Stability for Sustainable Development (2026), and Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention.
